This Privacy Policy describes how Latency Lab (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the App. Latency Lab is a companion application for Discord-based sports bots, providing real-time game event updates via a relay connection.
By using Latency Lab, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Latency Lab collects and processes a minimal amount of information, limited to what is necessary for the App to function:
Latency Lab does not collect, access, or process any of the following:
The App does not use any advertising networks or third-party SDKs that collect user data for advertising purposes.
The limited information described above is used solely to:
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, advertising, or any purpose beyond delivering the core functionality of the App.
The App employs a forensic watermark overlay during relay sessions. This watermark encodes a non-reversible hash derived from your authentication token, combined with the team identifier and date. The watermark is used solely to deter unauthorized redistribution of live relay content and cannot be used to extract personal information.
Session data is processed on a relay server maintained by the Developer. We use WebSocket Secure (WSS) connections to protect data in transit. Because no personal data is persisted beyond the active session (aside from push tokens and demo analytics as described above), there is no long-term data store containing user information.
Latency Lab uses the following third-party service:
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services beyond the above.
Latency Lab does not require or support account creation. Access is granted through one-time authentication tokens generated and distributed by Discord bot owners. The Developer does not manage user accounts or credentials.
Latency Lab is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the App does not collect personal information and access requires a token provided by a Discord bot owner, there is no mechanism through which a child could independently provide personal data to us.
If you believe a child under 13 has somehow provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email address below, and we will take steps to address the concern.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because Latency Lab does not store personal data beyond active sessions (aside from push tokens, which can be removed by disabling notifications), there is generally no persistent data to access, modify, or delete. If you have questions about your data or wish to exercise any applicable rights, please contact us using the information below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or the App’s data practices, please contact:
